DELIVERY CONDITIONS
At TheRTAHome.com, our commitment is to ensure that you are fully satisfied with the products you receive.
That's why we strongly encourage you to request a door sample before finalizing your cabinet purchase.
Viewing finishes and colors solely through pictures or online descriptions can be inaccurate-and we
understand that details like texture and tone make all the difference in the final result of your project.
If you choose to purchase products without first viewing a sample and realize upon receipt that the finish or
style does not meet your expectations, your return will be subject to our Return and Restocking Policies, as
outlined on our dedicated returns page.

PALLETIZED FREIGHT DELIVERIES
When your order arrives, it is essential that you immediately and thoroughly inspect all packages. Check to
ensure that all items are present and free from visible damage. The best way to do this is to print your order
receipt and compare each item against the delivery receipt provided by the driver.
If you notice any kind of damage-even minimal-or if something is missing, you must:
- Record the issue directly on the delivery receipt.
- Request that the driver signs and gives you a copy (drivers carry multiple copies and must leave one with
you).

DELIVERY PROCESS
Deliveries are made at the end of the truck, meaning the driver is only responsible for placing the pallet at the
rear edge of the vehicle. From that point, unloading is the customer's responsibility, piece by piece. This step
is ideal for counting the boxes and checking for any damage.
The delivery will be curbside, meaning the pallet will be left on the sidewalk or driveway, as deemed safestand most accessible by the driver.
Orders eligible for lift gate service-a mechanism that lowers the pallet to the ground-will receive this service at
no additional charge, without needing to request it. However, in some cases, the pallet size may prevent the
use of a lift gate.

IMPORTANT
AM Home Design USA LLC / TheRTAHome.com is not responsible for damage or missing items not
recorded at the time of delivery. If you sign for the delivery without noting issues, you will be responsible for
the cost of replacing any missing or damaged items.
Do not refuse the delivery due to damages. Accept the shipment, document everything as instructed, and
contact us. Unauthorized refusals may be subject to restocking fees, as stated in our return policy.
You will have 5 calendar days after delivery to report any concealed damages (those not visible at delivery).
These must be reported within this timeframe for the freight carrier to assess and process a claim.

LOGISTICS NOTICE
Deliveries are made using 53-foot trailers. Please notify us in advance if your delivery location has any of the
following restrictions:
- Gated communities
- Narrow streets, alleys, or dead-ends
- Private or unpaved roads
We may arrange a smaller truck, if available, to facilitate your delivery.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION- Once your order ships, you will receive an email with detailed delivery instructions.
- If the delivery address is in a hard-to-access area or requires special freight services (such as islands or
ferry crossings), additional charges may apply. If this applies to your order, we will contact you before
shipping to present options.

FOR FEDEX OR UPS GROUND DELIVERIES
Inspect all packages within 48 hours of receipt. If you find damage or missing items, contact
TheRTAHome.com immediately with your order number and, if possible, include photos.
After the 48-hour window, manufacturers will no longer accept replacement requests. Any missing or
damaged items must be repurchased by the customer.

FINISH NAME MAY DIFFER FROM WEBSITE
It is possible that the finish name printed on your box may differ from the name shown on our website. This
occurs because manufacturers provide original finish names which we rename for consistency and easier
navigation.
Once your order ships, you will receive an email explaining the finish name that will appear on your boxes to
avoid confusion. If you didn't receive this email, check your spam/junk folder or contact us.
Do not refuse delivery thinking you received the wrong model.

DESIGNER ORDERS
If you worked with a designer from TheRTAHome.com, please note that our designers create layouts based
on the measurements you provide. If there is an error in those measurements that results in cabinet misfit,
AM Home Design USA LLC / TheRTAHome.com is not responsible for replacement or adjustment costs.Please carefully review all kitchen measurements and the final invoice before approving your order. If you
have any questions regarding placement or use of a cabinet or accessory, contact your designer before
finalizing the order.

ORDERS WITHOUT DOOR SAMPLES
We highly recommend requesting a sample door before purchasing to confirm finish, color, and style.
Screens and devices may distort the product's true appearance. While we carefully adjust product images,
slight variations may still occur compared to the physical cabinets.
If you choose not to order a sample and are dissatisfied upon receiving the items, returns will be subject to
restocking fees, even if items are in perfect condition.

STOCK AVAILABILITY
Our inventory updates daily, but some items may be temporarily out of stock even if estimated timelines
appeared valid during purchase.
In such cases, our support team will reach out and offer you three options:
- Wait for the item to restock,
- Replace it with a similar available model,
- Or cancel the unavailable items.
To check stock availability before placing an order, just let us know-we're happy to check with the
manufacturer for you.

ORDER CHANGES
Orders can be modified within 24 hours of confirmation without restocking fees. After 24 hours, changes may
incur restocking fees per policy. We advise reviewing your order immediately after purchase and contactingus promptly for modifications.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Orders may be canceled free of charge within 24 hours of confirmation. After that, cancellations may incur
restocking fees.
Please contact us as soon as possible to avoid extra charges.

MEASUREMENT NOTICE
Cabinet measurements are typically converted from metric to inches and may be rounded to the nearest 1/4".
Final dimensions may slightly vary, usually less than 1/4", which is acceptable by industry standards.

RETURNS
To return an item, you must contact customer service within 5 days of receipt. Returns must meet the
following criteria:
- Item must be in original, sealed, unused packaging.
- Item must not be on our non-returnable list (see below).
- Upon request, we will send you return authorization with the correct shipping address.
NOTE: TheRTAHome.com operates multiple distribution centers. Do not send returns without prior
authorization as doing so voids refunds.

RETURN FEES AND CONDITIONS
- All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.If freight shipping is required, we can offer a quote from our partner carriers-typically more affordable than
local rates. If you choose to use our carrier, the freight charge will be deducted from your refund.
Freight returns must be:
- Secured on a pallet (available for free at local hardware or supply stores),
- Wrapped in stretch plastic for protection.
If products are damaged in return transit, refunds may be delayed until the carrier completes inspection. If
you use your own carrier, you must file any claims directly with them.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for return (subject to collection or finish). Contact us before purchase to
confirm return eligibility:
- Pre-assembled or custom cabinets (e.g., glass cuts),
- Decorative handles or knobs (special order),
- RTA cabinets that have already been assembled,
- Glass,
- Molding, panels, fillers, and various accessories like:
- Decorative corbels,
- Legs and columns,
- Appliques and valances.

PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS ACCEPTANCE
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. It's important to understand the natural characteristics
of our materials, especially wood, finishes, and manufacturing processes, which affect the final look ofcabinets.
​
STAINED FINISHES
Natural color variation, grain, knots, and mineral marks are inherent to wood and are not considered defects.
These may vary due to substrate type, wood age, sun exposure, and environment.
New orders or replacement pieces may not exactly match samples or previously installed cabinets. Visible
grain, insect holes, and knots may remain after finishing and are not considered flaws.
Warping tolerance is up to 1/8" per linear foot due to humidity or atmospheric changes.

PAINTED FINISHES
Painted finishes behave differently than stained ones. Wood expands and contracts with temperature and
humidity changes, leading to:
- Visible joint lines (stiles, rails, panels),
- Small cracks at joints,
- Raised grain or knot textures,
- Slight color changes over time due to lighting.
These are normal for painted products and not considered manufacturing defects.

JOINT FRACTURES
Wood moves with time; small cracks at front frame joints may appear. These microfractures do not
compromise structure or finish integrity.

MITER DOORS
Mitered door joints may show more visibly over time, especially with solid colors, due to natural woodmovement and climate variations.
​
HAND-APPLIED GLAZE FINISH
Glazing is applied manually, giving each door a unique appearance. Variations in thickness, intensity, and
uniformity are expected and not defects.
​
EXPANSION, CONTRACTION & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Wood reacts to its environment. It may contract in dry climates or expand in humid ones. This may require
touch-ups after acclimation. Improper cleaning products or residues can cause hazy appearance or grime
buildup-always follow proper maintenance instructions.

characteristics described above. You acknowledge that:
- Natural variations are expected;
- Differences may occur between samples and final products;
- These are part of the natural materials and not considered manufacturing defects.
