  • Are you open on the weekends?

  • Can my order be expedited?
    No, we cannot anticipate your order. Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. RTA cabinet orders are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, and warehouse capacity. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped, including tracking information.
  • Can I pick up my order from the main warehouse?
    We do not offer order pickups.
  • Can I make changes to my order once it is placed?
    Once your order is placed online, it cannot be modified. As soon as the order is submitted, it is automatically routed to one of our nationwide warehouses for fulfillment. These warehouses operate on tight schedules to ensure fast processing and shipping. We strongly encourage you to carefully review all items in your cart before finalizing your purchase. Order modifications are only permitted in cases where an item is out of stock and needs to be substituted.
  • Can I handle my own shipping?
    It is not advisable to handle your own shipping as it is expensive. We work with a third party logistics company to get the best competitive rates for our customers. This equals savings for you and less hassle.
  • Is there a restocking fee?
    Restocking Fee: All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Non-Returnable Items: Assembled or partially assembled items Installed or altered cabinets Custom or special-order items Trim, moldings, fillers, toe kicks, or accessories sold separately
  • Can I get samples of the cabinets?
    Yes, we offer samples of all lines. Check out our sample store.
  • Can I buy replacement parts?

  • Can I buy just doors?
    We do not sell individual doors separately. However, some of our cabinet lines include decorative end panels, these are essentially door-style panels designed for use on the sides of cabinets. They are only available in sizes that match standard cabinet widths and are not intended for use as standalone doors.
  • Do I need toe kick?
    We recommend purchasing toe kick to create a uniform appearance across the front and hide adjustable cabinet legs.
  • Do you offer installation services?
    Yes, we offer installation services in select areas of Florida. To check if installation is available in your location, please contact us at info@thertahome.com with your address. Our team will be happy to assist you!
  • Do I need to hire someone to assemble the cabinets?
    Some people do, but most don’t. They are very easy to assemble and require no experience. We also offer assembly services for some areas in Florida. Please contact us at info@thertahome.com with your address. Our team will be happy to assist you!
  • Are the cabinets strong enough to hold granite or concrete?
    Yes, all of our cabinet lines are strong enough to hold granite or concrete countertops.
  • Are the insides of the cabinets stained to match the face frames and doors?
    All of the cabinets are finished inside, but not all of them are the same as the face frame. It depends on the style of cabinet that you are looking at. This information is listed under the features section on the cabinet style page.
  • Do I need end panels?
    All of the cabinet ends are finished, but if you want to bring the sides flush with the face frame and create a customer look, you will have to use end panels.
  • Do I need to use wood glue to assemble the cabinets?
    Yes, our Quick Ship lines do require wood glue
  • Do I need toe kick?
    Yes, you do! We recommend purchasing toe kicks to create a uniform look in the front to hide the adjustable legs.
  • Do you carry the glass doors?
    We offer both mullion doors and open faced doors for our cabinets. Depending on the cabinet line will determine if it comes with glass or does not.
  • How do I install crown molding?
    Each cabinet style will require a different installation method for the crown. Depending on whether it is full overlay or ¾ overlay, you may be able to attach the crown to the face frame, or you will have to attach it directly to the top of the cabinet. For additional help, YouTube is a great resource for instructional videos
  • How high are the vanities?
    Vanity heights vary depending on the cabinet line. They range from 30″ to 32⅝″ to 34½″ tall. To verify the height please check the product description.
  • How high are your base cabinets?
    All of our base cabinets are 34.5″ high (standard height). This allows for a 1.5″ countertop to make 36″.
  • How much space do I need between my counter top and the wall cabinets?
    Industry standard is a minimum of 19 inches.
  • How much space do I need to leave for the blind base cabinet?
    For most of the cabinet lines the blind base needs to be installed 6″ away from the wall and will also have a maximum pull. Please review the specific cabinet specifications to be sure you are accounting for the correct amount of space.
  • What do I do if my plumbing interferes with the drawers on my vanity?
    You could always move the plumbing, but that would most likely require a professional plumber. If you don't want to hire someone, you can either create a false drawer where the plumbing is interfering by not using the actual drawer box.
  • What grade plywood is used on the cabinets?
    The plywood that is used is furniture grade plywood.
  • What is a end panel?
    A End panel is a cabinet door that is sized to fit the sides of the cabinets, and to create a custom look.
  • Will the cabinets come with hardware?
    Yes, all cabinets come with high quality hardware. Drawers can be customized to the customer's taste. I suggest you check the product descriptions.
  • Do I need toe kick?
    Most of our cabinets and vanities come with a piece of toe kick to be used when building the cabinet. We do recommend buying the 96" piece of toe kick to create a uniform look across the front and to hide the seams where there are multiple cabinets side by side.
  • How do I select right or left handed hinges?
    You don't have to! All of the kitchen cabinet lines have universal doors, which can be switched from left to right hinged based on need.
  • Do you sell countertops?
    Unfortunately we do not sell countertops. While we would love to offer countertops for our customers, we have found that it is more cost effective for customers to find countertops locally.
  • Are any of the cabinets made of particleboard?
    We have a number of different cabinet lines that use different materials. It is best that you contact our design team to review your selection.

  • Do you offer a warranty on the cabinets?
    Yes, we offer a 1-year limited warranty on the cabinets.
  • What does the Limited Warranty cover?
    The warranty covers any manufacturing defects. We are not liable for issues that arise from improper installation or assembly. While it occasionally happens, we very rarely have any issues with the cabinets once they are installed.
  • How long do I have to file a claim?
    Inspection Upon Delivery You must inspect all items at the time of delivery. If damage is visible or boxes are missing: Note all issues on the Bill of Lading (delivery receipt) before signing. Take clear photos of the damage and packaging. Contact our customer support within 48 hours of delivery. Concealed Damage or Missing Items If damage or missing items are discovered after delivery: You have 48 hours from the time of delivery to file a claim. Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted. Submitting a Claim All claims must be submitted through our Claim Form. Include: Order number Description of the issue Photos of all affected parts and packaging Only one claim per order is accepted. Please ensure all damages or issues are reported at once to avoid delays.
  • I am missing an item, what should I do?

  • My shipment was damaged, what should I do?
    If your shipment is damaged, it is very important to note it on the delivery receipt and take photos of the damaged freight. As soon as you discover the damage, file a claim on the website by logging into your account and noting it on the order.
  • The box looked fine, but when I opened it up, there was damage. What should I do?
    This is considered concealed damage, and can happen in transit without anyone knowing. This is why it is important to inspect each box within 48 hrs. If you discover concealed damage, please report it immediately.
  • I filed a claim online, but didn't receive a response. Why?
    In some cases, it may take a couple of days for our claims department to process a claim and get you a response. We know that any type of damage or missing item can be a burden for our customers, so we try to process them as fast as possible. If you feel that your claim wasn't received, please contact our claims department and they can give you more information.
  • How do I check my order status?
    Visit the order status page and enter your order number and e-mail to see the most up to date information.

  • How do I get a copy of my receipt?
    You can get a copy of your receipt by logging back into your account.
  • How long does it take to process an order?
    Orders are processed as soon as the order is placed online.
  • Is there tax on my order?
    The RTA Home "AM Home Design USA LLC" is required to collect sales tax in over 20 states within the US. If your state requires that sales tax be collected, you will see a line item on the checkout screen before you place your order.
  • I received a message saying the shipping calculator is down. What should I do?
    Since we use a 3rd party software program, occasionally the shipping calculator may go down. If you are having problems with the shipping calculator, please contact our design team and they can provide you with a shipping quote.
  • I placed an order, but my credit card hasn't been charged yet. Why?
    When an order is placed, we only authorize a transaction. Your order will remain as a pending charge until the order has been processed. *Depending on the card issuer the pending charge will fall off within one to two business days. Upon shipment of the order the card will be charged.
